This role will assist in managing and developing a team of dairy product experts to develop, explore, test and validate Glanbia Dairy ingredients.Working within the R&D department, but with key contacts in operations, quality and commercial teams, this person will manage a programme of diverse projects to help shape the technology roadmap to deliver GIIs value-add strategy.It requires an experienced Technologist with in depth dairy product knowledge, formulation skills and resource management experience.
The ideal candidate for the 3 positions will possess the following experience and attributes;
- Science based qualification, preferably to post graduate level.10+ years relevant technical and/or operational experience in a value-added dairy or related high-end nutrition industry. Dairy, Pharmaceutical or FMCG
- Research, technical, operations and marketing teams to commercialize innovation.
- Managing internal teams and external suppliers in the area of product development
- Project and program and category management
- Extensive IP and regulatory understanding an advantage
