Food and Drink Industry Ireland (FDII), the Ibec group that represents the food and drink sector, has published a comprehensive new review of the challenges posed to the sector by Brexit, and warned of a substantial threat to thousands of jobs if the Government failed to respond decisively to intense competitive pressures that have followed the referendum result. UK buyers are reviewing their supply chains in light of the vote and sterling's subsequent fall.
