  • FBOs producing liquid oils or fats or transporting liquid oils and fats by sea
  • Farmers needing to slaughter animals occasionally under emergency conditions and FBOs processing and handling such meat
  • Competent authorities responsible for enforcement in these areas

What is the purpose of this consultation?
To invite comments from stakeholders on revisions to Northern Ireland national legislation contained in The Food Hygiene and Official Feed and Food Controls (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2014. Comments are also invited on the IA for the removal of the requirement for a special mark on meat from emergency slaughtered animals.
