Vacancy: Senior Executive Adviser (FSA)

Location:  Belfast, although subject to business need there may be the option to work flexibly.

About the job: The FSA is offering a 12 month secondment from October 2017 for senior advisor in dietary health. As a senior advisor within the FSA you will be located in the Belfast office within the Standards and Dietary Health Team. 

List duties and responsibilities including: 
• Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of key NI Government outcomes identified for FSA in Programme for Government including Department of Health policies relating to food, nutrition and obesity prevention. 

• As project manager lead on the development, implementation and evaluation of specific dietary health programmes such as calories on menus and food poverty / household food insecurity. 

• Contribute to the overall business needs of the Agency in Northern Ireland through participation on internal and external working groups and meetings give presentations on standards and dietary health issues as and when required to groups, organisations etc, and assist in the organisation and delivery of courses, seminars and exhibitions. 

• Contribute to the development and implementation of the Strategic Plan, NI Group Plan and Standards and Dietary Health Team Plan. 

• Provide professional information and advice on standards and dietary health to members of the public, commercial and industrial organisations, other Government departments, local authorities and Agency colleagues.
