Position: Data Scientist

Location: London, York, Belfast, Cardiff or home based. Some travel will be required (approx. 3-4 days a month)

You will be part of an agile team of Data Scientists working on multidisciplinary projects that collaborate across government but are focussed around food. Your work will centre around high-value projects that make it easier to deliver efficient government services or practically demonstrate the value of using data science techniques to support the digital transformation of government.
Working with the Data Architect and wider data team you will be defining the best practice for applying data science and promoting what good data science looks like within the Agency. You will be encouraged to share this across government and represent the Agency at external events to ensure that stakeholders across sectors are engaged with the Agency’s data science.
