If your research project can contribute to EFSA’s work (data collection, literature reviews, etc.) and your organisation is on our approved list, we want you to respond to our calls for proposals.
EFSA regularly awards grants or subsidies for projects and activities that contribute to EFSA’s mission in the following areas:
- data collection
- preparatory work for scientific opinions
- other scientific and technical assistance.
Only competent organisations, based on designations by Member States, are eligible to apply for a call.
2017 EFSA Scientific Cooperation plan: calls for tenders (procurement) and calls for proposals (grants) with the indicative title, budget and timing for launch are advertised on the EFSA website. However, this information is indicative and does not constitute an obligation on EFSA to launch any given procedure.
