Launch of new platform for EFSA Journal on Wiley

EFSA is pleased to announce that the next generation platform for the EFSA Journal is now available.

From Wednesday 4 October onwards, EFSA Journal users will be automatically redirected to the new journal landing page at http://efsa.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/hub/.

The new platform brings a number of new features including:

  • Better linkage to the EFSA website;
  • Improved search functionality (including combined search of EFSA Journal and Supporting Publications and ability to restrict searches to individual Scientific Panels or Scientific Committee);
  • Article metrics (number of citations and access);
  • Thematic collections of articles (Virtual Issues);
  • Highlighted articles.

The underlying Journal functionality (i.e. the way in which users access the full text of articles, references, abstracts, citations, etc.) is largely unchanged and the Journal remains fully open access.

Readers will also notice mention of an EFSA Journal application which will be downloadable in the coming weeks.

While the site is designed to be as intuitive as possible, it may take some time for readers to become fully accustomed to it; in the meantime, if you have any queries do not hesitate to contact the EFSA Journal at efsajournal@efsa.europa.eu.
