Ireland sees rise in Campylobacter and Listeria

Listeria and Campylobacter both increased this past year in Ireland, according to figures from the Health Protection Surveillance Centre.

The number of listeriosis patients was the highest since the disease became notifiable in 2004. More than 3,000 Campylobacter infections were recorded.
