Event report on the EFSA Session organised under the International Association for Food Protection (IAFP) 2017 European Symposium on food safety

This report describes the structure, contents and outcomes of the event organised by EFSA on the

occasion of the 17th International Association for Food Protection (IAFP) European Symposium held

29-31 March 2017 in Brussels, Belgium. The session “Identification of Emerging Risks in Food –

Different Approaches to Achieve a Common Goal” aimed at raising awareness on the methodologies

used by international organizations, academia and industry for the identification of emerging risks.
