Vacancy: Quality & Process Team Leader (EFSA)

EFSA is looking for an experienced and energetic Quality & Process Team Leader who will drive and disseminate best in class quality and process culture throughout the organization.

The successful candidate will provide expertise to ensure that EFSA’s scientific workflows and key business processes focus on customer satisfaction, delivering efficiently and with quality.

She/he will play a key role in setting the vision with respect to the EFSA process and quality management system incorporating scientific workflows, business process management, document management and internal control systems.

She/he will act as a champion for innovation and continuous improvement throughout all of EFSA’s processes.

Your key responsibilities

  • Lead a team in charge of Quality and Process Management covering all the Organisation’s activities in strict collaboration with EFSA’s Departments and in line with EFSA’s values and approaches. This team aims at improving work processes and supporting EFSA’s transformation efforts ensuring adherence to customers’ expectations. The team will leverage on change, process, programme and quality management capabilities;
  • Maintain, control and develop the Quality Management System ensuring the ISO 9001:2015 compliance;
  • Develop, define and spread a customer centered process management methodology to ensure harmonized process mapping, engineering, reengineering, measurement aimed at performance;
  • Define the appropriate type of documentation (policies, SOPs, WINs, etc.) to be further developed in order to standardise the execution of EFSA processes;
  • Continuously seek for opportunities to improve and lean EFSA’s quality and process management system to meet the EFSA and customer requirements and promote a harmonised approach;
  • Contribute with research, analysis and ideas to the development of EFSA’s organisation towards the achievement of the EFSA Strategy 2020 in order to ensure that organisational development initiatives are appropriately integrated and aligned with strategic and business objectives;
  • Coordinate the design of change management strategies that support EFSA’s ambition to be a high performing organisation, including initiatives fostering a continuous improvement culture;
  • Lead by example, ensuring that the relevant team operates in line with EFSA’s approach and values.
