JOB PURPOSE:
To contribute to research and teaching including the Gibson MSc degrees in Sustainable and Rural Development and the cross faculty degree in Environmental Management. To lead an exceptional program of economic research into global challenges facing agriculture, food, nutrition and health such as obesity, health and nutrition, food safety, security, and integrity, challenges of lifestyle behaviour change, securing ecosystem services and sustainable production. To teach as required in some of the following areas: agricultural, and environmental economics and policy, food marketing and policy, land and business economics at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and contribute to the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, and to School administration and outreach activity.
