EFSA are looking for a motivated and talented Institutional Relations Officer who will support EFSA in managing outreach and engagement with the Authority’s key business partners and EU institutions, with a view to enhancing EFSA’s external relations, public image and reputation.
You will work within Units, projects and/or initiatives requiring institutional relations competencies. 
 
Your key responsibilities
  • Promote and contribute to EFSA’s activities in the area of institutional relations; 
  • Consolidate and implement policies in an inter-institutional and multi-stakeholder environment; 
  • Nurture relationships with institutions and external partners, acting as key contact point and ensuring a constant flow of information and initiatives relevant for EFSA’s work;
  • Build enhanced dialogue with institutions and stakeholders that help to generate trust, awareness and interest in EFSA’s work;
  • Organise, promote, and execute initiatives in the context of wider and structured projects across multiple-teams (e.g. interaction with European Parliament coordination of the Network of EU Agencies, organisation of multilateral forums, etc.);
  • Ensure sound mapping, monitoring and analysis of EFSA’s institutional and stakeholder environment, producing comprehensive communications, notes and reports; 
  • Contribute to ad hoc departmental or corporate projects, as needed.
