EUROFLEETS2 is the follow up to EUROFLEETS1 with a principal aim to consolidate the construction of a pan-European distributed research fleet infrastructure with common strategic vision and coordinated access to European marine research vessels and equipment. The Fixed point Open Ocean Observatory network (FixO3) seeks to integrate European open ocean fixed point observatories and to improve access to these key installations for the broader community. The successful candidate’s role will be focused on acting as a MI project officer particularly in facilitating Trans National Access for the above and related projects.

If you have an interest in working with these exciting programmes and feel that you will bring the skills and experience required then we would like to speak to you. To be considered for this temporary opportunity you must have at least a degree in marine science, or a combination of a relevant degree and equivalent experience. Candidates must demonstrate experience in and /or knowledge of the technical aspects of marine research at sea particularly Research Vessels and other marine research field infrastructures. The candidate must have good technical capability and the ability to be well organised and work to deadlines identifying priorities and managing time effectively.
