In support of this year’s World Health Day theme, TiFSiP are asking for you to put your stamp on food safety, by entering TiFSiP’s World Health Day competition, based around best practice in food safety.

We’re looking for case study examples of best practice in food safety that you think will help raise others’ awareness of good food practice and contribute to food safety. Anyone who works in food safety – local authorities, environmental health practitioners, trading standards officers, and more – can contribute if it sends a strong message about food safety and why it is important.

Send in your entry now for your chance to win the following:

  • A £50 Fortnum and Mason gift card
  • Your case study featured on TiFSiP’s website

Submission criteria:

  • Case studies should have a focus on a real life situation in food safety
  • All case studies should be based on an application of food safety practices within a retail, catering, or local authority environment
  • Every submission should follow the case writing guidelines provided on the competition page

Submit your case study on best practices in food safety (max: 1,000 words) to contact@tifsip.org. Guidelines for case studies can be found here.

Closing date for the competition is midnight on Friday 3 April and the winner will be announced at midday on World Health day (Tuesday 7 April). The winner will have their entry published on the TiFSiP website as well as receiving a £50 gift voucher to Fortnum and Mason.
