On the Front Lines of Food Safety

An interesting  food safety article published in the New York Times showing how one fresh produce grower has introduced a programme to teach workers how to better spot signs of contamination in an effort to prevent the types of bacterial outbreaks of salmonella, listeria or E.coli that have sickened consumers who ate contaminated cantaloupes, spinach or other produce.
