The Health Service Executive says multiple groups of people have been affected by an outbreak of food poisoning due to salmonella in Dublin.

The HSE knows of more than 50 people, including four children, who were taken ill after a north Dublin food business supplied food to separate groups of parties on 13 and 14 May.

Five people were admitted to hospital and 16 of the ill have been confirmed as having salmonella.
