The key role of the QHSE Manager is to drive the standards within the factory ensuring all products that go out the door are safe and to specification. Key focus being placed on safety, complaints targets/levels, micro & environmental issues, product quality, GMP/fabrication & adherence to procedures. Be preventative not reactive. Always putting the customer needs first & reacting to their requests/issues in a timely & concise manner. Building ‘Quality capability’ across the site through training, culture development and role modelling.
The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar position or position of responsibility with a quality focus. The work environment is a changing, dynamic environment, where a need to adapt to change easily, show flexibility, prioritization, organization, diplomacy and time management skills are a pre-requisite. Experience in producing infant and clinical ingredients is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Minimum qualification is degree level in Food Science related subject. Proficient written, numerical and verbal skills. Fluency of English language. Numerical ability to record, interpret and analyse key process data.
