The European Food Information Council (EUFIC) is looking for two interns -

EU Projects Communications Intern for 6 to 12 months.

Role Summary: Assisting the EU Projects Communications Manager in delivering EUFIC commitments to EU-funded projects, particularly with communication activities, and dealing with progress reports, financial and administrative aspects of the project.

Media & Communications intern, for 6-12 months

As much as possible, we try to assign specific projects to interns, that they can “own” and see through to the end of their internship. The projects will vary, in line with EUFIC vision, mission and evolution. Tasks would include, but are not limited to:

  • support media monitoring
  • perform website statistical analysis (ex. using Google Analytics), implement Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), advise website design & development
  • manage and advise on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, LinkedIn, Google+) strategy
  • update website content and contact databases
  • perform stakeholder research
  • assist in drafting reports and publications

Organisation Description
The European Food Information Council, EUFIC, is a non-profit organisation that provides science-based information on food and food-related topics to disseminators such as the media, health and nutrition professionals, educators and opinion leaders in a way that promotes consumer understanding. EUFIC receives funding from the European Commission on a project basis, European companies in the food and drink industries, foundations and other sources.
