The U.S. government will test various foods for exposure to glyphosate, the active ingredient in several herbicides.
Tests on foods including soybeans, corn, milk and eggs are set to begin this year, says Food and Drug Administration spokesperson Lauren Sucher.

Very positive. There is still some much discussion around this pesticide, which is most likely due to the lack of clear data. And increasing worries about the presence in foodstuffs, e.g. glyphosate was found in all beers tested: http://www.dw.com/en/glyphosate-weed-killer-found-in-german-beers-s.... The good news is: you have to drink around 1000 l (a day!) for any expected harmful effect.
