This is a time of significant change within local government. And at the same time, the challenges and threats to protecting and improving health and wellbeing in areas such as agri-food, the natural and built environment, lifestyle, society, and the economy persist and in some cases increase.

This conference aims to explore all these issues within the context of change; showcase examples of innovation in responding to some of the challenges; and create opportunity and space for discussion, dialogue and learning amongst key stakeholders and assist in informing and shaping the future delivery of key services that protect and improve the health, wellbeing and quality of life of our people and communities.

•Future regulation – priorities, vision and approaches
