Ion chromatography (IC) is a versatile, proven method in food and beverage analysis that enables chemically similar substances to be determined in parallel in a single analysis. This webinar focuses on applications for food safety in milk products, for quality control issues in meat and fish, and for monitoring health-hazardous ions in soft drinks and bakery products. You will also learn how to improve efficiency using automated sample preparation.

Andrea will cover:
•Benefits of IC compared with HPLC or other analysis methods
•Possible application areas from trace level to the g/L range
•Capabilities and principles of inline sample preparation techniques, e.g. Inline Ultrafiltration, Inline Dialysis and Inline Dilution
•Capabilities and limits of detection techniques, e.g. conductivity, UV/VIS, amperometric and MS detection
•Optimizing IC instrumentation to reduce costs and time, and improve robustness and reliability
