Science supporting trust in food
The UK Government Chemist conference is held every two years to share scientific knowledge and best practice with scientists, regulators, enforcement agencies, industry and policy makers who are responsible for making measurements or using measurement data.
The 2016 conference will include presentations on:
- the Food Authenticity Network
- the role of the UK customs laboratory in combating food and consumer goods fraud
- referee case outcomes
- DNA sequencing for food authentication
- allergen detection and management
- the National Food Crime Unit
