Food Tourism and Culture have become the leading hook in travel, with authenticity the single most important movement driving consumer behaviour today.

This is at the heart of touRRoir, a new global forum on food, tourism and culture. Brought to you by Good Food Ireland and Soolnua, touRRoir is a dynamic forum for dialogue, debate and discussion.

What is touRRoir
touRRoir is a new signature food, tourism and culture global forum that will explore every aspect of food tourism and its inextricable link to a country’s culture.

It will look into a rapidly growing future of food in tourism and the disruptive technology developments facilitating and even driving this change.

touRRoir will show how best to harness the exploding search for authenticity and how by fostering the shared values of these three sectors, companies and nations can build brands through associated soft power attractiveness.

During the day you touRRoir will present a Networking Showcase Lunch featuring some of Ireland’s top artisan food producers and craft drinks specialists. You will have the opportunity to meet the people behind the food and hear their stories.

The day will culminate with a Networking Reception and Collaborative Gala Dinner – Putting Landscape in a Pot – a unique celebration dinner incorporating the touRRoir Hall of Fame and the Good Food Ireland Best of the Decade Awards.

The dinner will bring together renowned international chefs who will join forces with acclaimed Irish chefs to create an inspirational dining experience with featured Irish producers and craft drink pairings.
