Guest of Honour: Christine Tacon, Groceries Code Adjudicator
This conference will bring together policymakers and key stakeholders to discuss the policy priorities for the UK food supply chain and for the Groceries Code Adjudicator.
The agenda is being structured to facilitate discussion on how best to ensure a fair price for suppliers to large supermarkets, and examine priorities for the Groceries Code Adjudicator and the potential for any further expansion of the role.
Further planned sessions assess next steps for ensuring integrity, assurance and transparency across the food chain, including discussion on labelling, trading practice, regulation and meeting the challenges of reducing food fraud.
