The Institute for Global Food Security, in partnership with the Coalition of Aid and Development Agencies in Northern Ireland (CADA), invite you to attend the flagship lecture for the inagural One World Festival.

Entitled “Table for 10 billion: How to achieve a food-secure world”, the lecture will be delivered by Professor Glenn Denning of Columbia University and will feature a panel discussion with the opportunity for attendees to ask questions. Today’s food systems are a complex, dynamic product of many interacting forces. However, there is a significant shortfall between the amount of food we produce today and what is required to feed an estimated global population of 10 billion by 2050. This opening event will discuss the how we can create a secure and sustainable global food system that meets the needs of the current and future generations.
