EFSA is organising a scientific conference with stakeholders to discuss a series of activities it has carried out in the past two years in the area of pesticides. In particular, discussions will focus on EFSA’s Scientific Opinion investigating the experimental toxicological properties of plant protection products having a potential link to Parkinson’s disease and childhood leukaemia and its draft opinion dealing with the methodological limitations of epidemiological studies – currently under public consultation – which will make recommendations for improving the studies to facilitate their integration into regulatory pesticide risk assessment.
