Make your voice heard in Northern Ireland and raise the profile of science in the new Assembly!

This event is designed to raise the profile of science and to bring together the science, engineering and technology community in Northern Ireland to discuss the best way to take forward the science agenda over the lifetime of this Assembly.

The event is aimed at anyone in the science, engineering and technology community in Northern Ireland with an interest in assisting the newly elected Assembly.

The event will provide an opportunity for networking, as well as set-piece presentations, and an opportunity to discuss best way forward including the possible formation of an All-Party Group on Science and Technology.

Both the leading co-sponsor Basil McCrea MLA and the President of the Royal Society of Chemistry Professor David Phillips OBE will give talks, alongside other talks from speakers from the science community in Northern Ireland.

Attendance is free, but delegates must register in advance using the online registration link on this page. Please note that places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis after allocation of places to the major co-sponsoring scientific societies.
