What you can expect from the workshop:
The workshop is designed to provide information on the main outcomes of the QSAFFE project
(www.qsaffe.eu), presenting TOOLS FOR IMPROVING THE QUALITY, SAFETY AND AUTHENTICITY OF
ANIMAL FEEDS.
Following topics will be presented:
The industry perspective on needs for a feed quality and safety control
Early detection of contamination problem in feed mills by near infrared spectroscopy and
chemometrics
Suggestions for industry on strategies for early quality and safety assurance in the feed chain
Analytical traceability of feed materials
Suggestions for industry on implementation of isotopic and fingerprinting methods to improve
feed materials traceability and authenticity
Mycotoxins in feed: Mitigation strategies for safer feed products
Microbiology risks in feed industry
This workshop will give you an opportunity to meet experts in the respective fields and exchange the
knowledge with them.
Target audience: The workshop is aimed at scientists and feed industry representatives.
The workshop is free of charge and will be open to a maximum of 50 participants. Participants will
be responsible for their travel and accommodation costs.
