Course Overview
Interactions between the climate, economic pressures and technological developments produce complex consequences in the food sector which require clear and carefully planned management and leadership, including understandings of intellectual property, financial flows and development strategies.
Participants will analyse this broad range of issues and planning opportunities, and examine the interactions of inputs to and the consequences of holistic strategic plans in food security planning. They will develop further knowledge of the multiple issues which affect food planning and elaborate comprehensive, coherent planning strategies for the management of the food industry and distribution.
This is a specialist training course leading to a Level 7 Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Certificate in Management and Leadership. Upon completion of this week-long course and subsequent written tasks, the successful candidate will be awarded a Level 7 CMI certificate in Management & Leadership showing the CMI units achieved.
