The meeting will take place with the Science Council Chair Professor Sandy Thomas and all 7 members in attendance. FSA Chairman Heather Hancock and Chief Scientific Adviser Guy Poppy will set out the FSA’s strategic and science priorities, and its priority questions for the Council.
The meeting will include discussions on the themes of:
• Role of the Science Council and its relationship with the FSA
• Top strategic challenges on which the FSA would like input from the Science Council in the next two years:
i. Science capability and assurance
ii. Risk and certainty
iii. Horizon scanning
