A restaurant owner has been jailed for six years for the manslaughter of a customer who had an allergic reaction to a curry. Mr Richard Wright QC, who prosecuted this ‘landmark case’ will join delegates to give an overview of the circumstances leading up to this case, the current regulations and what the outcome means for food businesses.

Regulators and those working in the food industry will debate and review best practice, the importance of food safety culture, and how to manage allergies in today’s busy food businesses.

This event, will include a panel discussion to enable a high level of debate and discussion.
