The global bioeconomy is gaining pace and the UK is positioning itself at the forefront. Illustrating the progress made in exploiting industrial biotechnology in the UK, the Industrial Biotechnology Leadership Forum (IBLF) is hosting an event to showcase recent examples of IB success.
Michael Fallon MP and Minister of State for Business and Enterprise at BIS will open this event which will attract business leaders, technology providers, investors, leading academics and policy makers from the UK and across the EU with the aim to:
- Showcase UK success in Industrial Biotechnology and Bio-based Products
- Inspire new manufacturers to explore IB potential
- Build new collaborations, within the UK and beyond
- Demonstrate impact of current Government support and commitment for the future
- Set out IBLF strategy to 2015 and beyond
