Aim
This all-Island Conference will explore innovative and practical ways of providing knowledge support for the implementation of two public health frameworks. These are 'Healthy Ireland: A Framework for Improved Health & Wellbeing 2013-2025' in the Republic of Ireland and 'Making Life Better – A Whole System Strategic Framework for Public Health 2013–2023' in Northern Ireland.
Audience
The event will be of interest to all people working to improve public health and wellbeing and reduce inequalities. These include people from government departments and agencies, health and social service agencies, academia, the community and voluntary sector, and business.
The Conference is co-hosted by the Institute of Public Health in Ireland (IPH) and the Department of Health (Republic of Ireland).

Overview
'Innovation' is the cross-cutting theme of the Conference which will include a broad range of speakers. It will be a very interactive programme that will end with a key note speaker and an expert panel discussion answering questions from the audience. The Conference will include two plenary and four parallel sessions focusing on the following themes:
- Monitoring Health and Wellbeing Across the Population
- Crossing Boundaries for Better Knowledge
- Knowledge Exchange: Formulating Policy and Practice
- Information Systems for Health and Wellbeing
