The possibility of intentional contamination of the food supply with a pathogen or toxic substance is a constant threat, one which businesses and governments work diligently to protect against. Because of their wide use in myriad food products, additives and other minor ingredients present a potential target for contamination that could have wide-reaching effects. However, given the small amounts in which such ingredients are typically used, it is unclear how much of a risk this tactic truly poses.
This webinar will present work performed by Gryphon Scientific to assess the threat of minor ingredient contamination and identify trends in vulnerability across the food supply.
