The HRB are celebrating 30 years in 2016. To mark the occasion they are hosting a conference in Dublin Castle on 30 November that will focus on getting research into policy and practice for the benefit of people's health and health care delivery.
There is an implementation deficit that currently exists and must be addressed to realise the potential of research and evidence to transform our health services. Experiences from Ireland and abroad will be presented at this HRB-hosted event, with the aim of developing our understanding and capacity to translate research/evidence/data into meaningful health service improvements.
