Leatherhead's Food Law Update is an annual overview of EU and national legislation of interest to the food industry in Ireland.
Topical subjects, and those where there have been significant changes, will be covered in detailed presentations.
The 2014 programme will be presented by speakers from Leatherhead Food Research, The Food Standards Agency (Northern Ireland) and Arthur Cox Solicitors. The day will include separate updates on nutrition and health claims, food supplement legislation, and an extensive update on Regulation (EU) 1169/2011 (the new labelling Regulation) regarding origin labelling, common queries on the legislation and an update on the proposed implementation of the legislation in Northern Ireland.
