Speaker: Dr Mike Tse, Prof Bob Doherty & Dr Kim Tan


This workshop will involve keynote presentations from the academic team and industrial experts on the research findings of the analysis of supply chain quality risk in the food chain.
 

This workshop will involve producers, processors, manufacturers, retailers, and academics.
 

Everyone in discussion groups will have the opportunity to identify the current gaps in the supply chain quality assurance system, the possible solution of avoiding food fraud and how research should be shaped in the future.
 

The FIA research team is led by Dr Mike Tse and Prof Bob Doherty at University of York, and Dr Kim Tan at University of Nottingham.
 

Dr Mike Tse and Professor Bob Doherty lead the team from The York Management School, bringing expertise on supply chain risk, food fraud, sustainable business and global supply chains. At Nottingham University Business School, the research team is led by Dr Kim Tan who has expertise in supply chain quality assurance, quality integrity in food chain, logistics and big data research in the industry.
 

We have invited Mr David Croft (Director in Waitrose) and Mr Stuart Roberts (Director in ABP Food Group) as keynote speakers to discuss about the state-of-the-art practices in supply chain quality assurance.
