EFSA conference 2018 is constructed around the motto “contextualising risk assessment”. This means reflecting on the future of risk assessment in food safety while acknowledging the social and political context within which it operates.

Researchers, risk assessors, social scientists, risk managers and stakeholders from all over the world will gather to discuss issues around the complex interplay between science, food and society.

This is a unique opportunity to:

  • Catch up, exchange and debate with the leaders of scientific community worldwide in an interdisciplinary context.
  • Broaden your knowledge on the future of risk assessment in food safety and the interplay between science, food and society.
  • Develop a network with a view to building a research career.

Registrations to the conference will be accepted until the maximum venue capacity is reached, and, in any case, no later than 30 June 2018. Note that a call for posters has also been launched with deadline for submissions by 2 April 2018.
