Food Safety Theme: Effective Cleaning - Methods, equipment and products

Purpose
‘safefood Discussion Groups’ is a pilot initiative supported by safefood under the Knowledge Network programme. The initiative is focused on providing SME food businesses in the Dairy and Meat sectors with practical and hands on support in the areas of food safety and general business development. Operating in the Munster region initially, the safefood Discussion Groups will run a series of on location/in-business workshops which will provide producers with the opportunity to collaborate with other producers and expert advisors in the fields of food business and safety.

Attendance at the workshops is free of charge and a light lunch will be provided.

Who should attend?
The discussion groups will be of most interest to SME Dairy and Meat producers:

- Local Authority registered producers of meat products,
butchers, abattoirs and those producing added value meat
products

- Dairy producers registered with the Department of Agriculture,  Food and the Marine
