This annual half-day postgraduate seminar shall be held on Thursday 20th September 2012, in the Castleview Suite of the Maynard Sinclair Pavilion at Stormont
Dr Mark Browne, Deputy Secretary of DARD Central Policy Group will chair the event and we are delighted to welcome a guest speaker from the Agri-food Strategy Board. This year seven final year DARD funded PhD students will give a brief presentation on their research and one final year PhD student funded by AgriSearch will also participate. First and second year DARD funded students will present poster displays of their research and students due to commence their research in October 2012 will also be attending. There will be an opportunity to meet all students and discuss their research over a buffet lunch.
Key stakeholders along with policy and technical staff from DARD have been invited to the postgraduate seminar, which we hope will also provide a useful forum to highlight our current and future research priorities.
