The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) would like to present ‘Breakfast Bites’, a series of free, informal breakfast meetings for food businesses. Here, we provide useful information on the topics you want to know more about. These events are very helpful if you own or work in a small food business and also for those of you who want to get your new food business off the ground.

Our upcoming Breakfast Bite is on: Food allergen labelling – what you need to know

Pat O’Mahony (FSAI) will reiterate what you need to do to comply with the law on declaring the use of food allergens in non-prepacked food. Marita Porter (FSAI) will outline the results of a recent audit of food businesses with respect to how they provide written food allergen information to consumers. Marita & Pat will be available to answer questions at the end of their presentations.
