The Diploma in Speciality Food Production, UCC is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2015 and to mark this UCC are hosting an Artisan Food 10th Anniversary Symposium in Devere Hall, UCC on 26th June 2015.
The Symposium is for graduates of the Diploma; artisan food producers; the lecturers who work on delivering the Diploma programme; and the support agencies, government departments and businesses who are important stakeholders and contributors to its success.
The day-long programme will include presentations by key stakeholders, Diploma graduates and others who are actively working in the artisan and speciality food sector.
The event will culminate with an Open Forum which will explore the challenges associated with the sector, and the availability of resources and supports to the sector.
Panellists will include artisan food producers/graduates and individuals from various support agencies. The Forum will be chaired by Dr Colin Sage, UCC and Ms Eileen McClure, Kitchen Incubators Kerry.
