GlycoScience Ireland is an academic organization that aims to support and promote Glycosciences research in Ireland and to provide visibility and collaborative opportunities for Irish glycoscientists with international academic and industrial communities. Since 2008, GlycoScience Ireland has successfully encouraged inter-disciplinary collaboration between Irish glycoscientists, biologists, chemists, engineers, information scientists and clinicians, interested in exploring novel glycoscience approaches to a variety of research questions. Glycoscience Ireland has also provided a forum for communication and interaction between Irish glycoscientists and industry representatives in Ireland and further afield with the aim of assisting the translation of glycoscience discoveries into commercial realities.

The Annual GlycoScience Ireland meetings have been a great success, consistently attracting over 150 Irish and international participants from academic and research organisations, biopharmaceutical, diagnostics and food industries, and funding agency representatives. This event is now firmly established in the Irish scientific calendar. The 2012 meeting will focus on Next Generation Glycotechnologies and their relevance to BioPharma and the growing Natural Food sector in Ireland.

This is a free event sponsored by the SFI-funded Alimentary Glycoscience Research Cluster, AGRC.  However, for catering purposes we ask you to register.
REGISTRATION will be opening on 20th August, 2012 at http://www.glycoscienceireland.ie/conference.html.
