Two parallel sessions will be set up:

  • Animal health and welfare - Concepts and tools for international and European governance
  • Food safety for products of animal origin- International and European management and controls

These 3-weeks courses are organized to provide information, skills and know-how to participants through participative methods.

The challenge is not only to enable participants to gather and share experience but also to reflect on their own practices in the light of European and international management of both animal health and welfare and food safety.

The targeted audience is: Public sector veterinarians, Executives of veterinary authority or agricultural organisations and Senior veterinary officers.

These courses will take place in Lyon (France) + a study trip to Brussels, Paris and Rome.
