Experience and expertise in food safety
25 years experience. 8 years in food industry (microbiologist) 4 years Leatherhead Food RA (Research-VTEC, Clostridium botulinum, Salmonella etc). Past 13 years (Campden BRI) as Manager of Micro Methods Group + Containment level 3 Laboratory. Specialism: Enterobacteriaceae, especially pathogenic E. coli (VTEC) and other enteric pathogens (Salmonella, Campylobacter etc).
