Experience and expertise in food safety
Coordinator of the EC FP5 CAMPYCHECK project for emerging campylobacteraceae in foods and water. Participant in various EC funded projects dealing with Cryptosporidium, VTEC and Listeria in foods and water, and FSA projects dealing with pathogens in sewage sludge and animal manures recycled to land. PI of several BBRSC funded projects on VTEC and Salmonella contmaination of fresh produce and methods of disinfection.
